I received some good new last week from the InterContinental Hotel Connections Photo Contest. My entry “Singing of the Bato Balani sa Gugma” won an Honorable Mention. There were thousands of entry’s from around the world with three winners and 17 honorable mentions. This is the second year I placed as an Honorable Mention, with my “Turtle Eating a Jellyfish” winning last year. I always enjoy seeing what images are chosen for this contest, because there are some wonderful entry’s every year. You can see this years winners here. I’m excited to receive my autographed copy of A Camera, Two Kids and a Camel, the newly published photography book by renowned National Geographic Photographer, Annie Griffiths Belt. Should be a good one!
